  Summer was wonderful but it’s almost over.
We begin our Fall/Winter season at our first rehearsal on TUESDAY, September 2, 2014. ( First Baptist Smyrna Church, 1275 Church Street SE, Smyrna, GA 30080-3595)
AUDITIONS for NEW MEMBERS start at 6:30pm and will go until we begin the rehearsal at 7:30pm.
We always need more tenors and basses, so please invite some of your good male singer friends to come and audition. Returning members free free to come early to sign in, collect music packets and such. 
 
I cannot wait to see you and hear you make beautiful music!

I can hardly wait to begin rehearsal for the  fall.  Frank Boggs, our director, has chosen music that will thrill the singer as well as the listener.

If you would love to audition, please come Tuesday,  September 2nd, 7:00 PM in the choir room at First Baptist Church Smyrna  (1275 Church Street SE,   Smyrna, GA  30080-3595).  Watch for Signs at the lower level parking area.

Continuing members rehearsal begins at 7:30 on Tuesday, September 2nd at 7:30 PM in the choir room at  First Baptist Church Smyrna.

Potential Bad Weather

Frank Boggs has cancelled rehearsal for Tuesday, January 28th due to the possibility of icy or snowy weather. Rehearsal will resume on Tuesday, February 4th. Be warm and stay safe.

Frankpix The Georgia Festival Chorus is proud and privileged to have Frank Boggs as our director and founder. His musical career is in it’s 70th year. The Spring 2014 season’s repertoire is composed of a few of Mr. Boggs’ favorites spanning  Brahms to Moses Hogan and Ken Medema. Come join us in celebrating the  career of a distinguished and well respected musician, Frank Boggs. A special 70 Years of Song celebration  will be held at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church (April 27th beginning at 7:30 PM).

  Come make some special musical memories of your own.

2014 A New Year of Happiness and Song

image Merry Christmas and a great New Year. May the new  year  be filled with joy, laughter and fulfillment.

The Georgia Festival Chorus will begin practice Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 at 7:30 PM at 1st Baptist Church of Smyrna. If you want to fill your new year with music, why not come audition with the chorus at 7:00 PM in the choir room at 1st Baptist Church of Smyrna. We are looking forward to welcoming prospective new members and will make the audition as easy as possible.
